Investigate | Natural History Museum, London

This was an installation in the Investigate Centre of the Natural History Museum. The Investigate Centre is a hands-on science space where adults and children can touch and examine real animal, plant and geological treasures.

We designed, manufactured and installed this childrens feely activity called 'Same or different?' following the brief provided. The installation was modular so that each box could be attached to the side of any other. This gave lots of variations to how the display could be assembled by the staff and also allowed for gaps in between which allowed the children to see and communicate with each other as they described what they were feeling... animal, vegetable or mineral?
